The Local Election results lay a lot of ground work, but there is still much to do.
In the midst of the results that have been mentioned, one council result may have slipped under the radar.
The result given for North Herts District Council was given across the media as "No Overall Control”. That is true, but it does not tell the whole story. The fact is that it was down to one seat, which Labour were just 47 votes short of achieving. Had Labour won all three seats in the Ward of Baldock West, then Labour would now have a majority of one on the council.
